Big, Big, BIG Announcement and Summer’s Last Hurrah

Viking Cooking School is Becoming
Salt Lake Culinary Center

Same talented staff, new and exciting classes, same location.

Wondering why there are no September classes listed on the VCS calendar? Here’s the scoop (and it’s pretty amazing). The VCS staff is proud to announce, as of September 1, 2013, our school will officially become the NEW Salt Lake Culinary Center.

In early June, the VCS team received word our cooking school would be closing. Thankfully, our Culinary Director Diane Sheya and her husband Rich took a leap of faith and purchased the school as their own. “Conveniently, we’re not changing our school location and 100% of the staff is staying. We’re moving forward, it’s a very exciting time,” said Chef Diane. “We remain committed to our hands-on teaching approach and we’re aiming high. We will continue to stretch our culinary creativity by introducing new classes and private events. Our goal is to always present the best and most interesting cooking classes Salt Lake City has to offer.”

For the month of August, class registration will continue via the Viking Cooking School website,www.vikingcookingschool.com.

The first phase of the new Salt Lake Culinary Center’s website launches today, August 2, www.saltlakeculinarycenter.com. The September class calendar, as well as the rest of our 2013 classes, will be active shortly. In the meantime, September classes can be reserved by calling the school directly,801.464.0113.  Keep your eyes on the new website as new details are being added daily.
