Making homemade soup doesn’t have to be an all-day kitchen project! Each of the three soups in this class can be made in 30 minutes, so you can ladle out a hot and healthy dinner in same time it takes for pizza delivery. Guest Chef Valerie Phillips will show how to turn your leftover Thanksgiving turkey into a hearty Turkey Chili for sampling. Then class members will make their own savory Harvest Pumpkin Soup with Cheddar, and a shortcut riff on Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana that is full of spicy sausage and good-for-you kale.  You’ll go home with two dinners ready and waiting! Both soups freeze beautifully too.  We will also talk about turning that carcass from your rotisserie chicken or Thanksgiving turkey into rich broth as a base for your next pot of soup, and we’ll discuss tips for savvy soup-making.
