New Test Kitchen Classes

Happy Thursday, Salt Lake Culinary Center Fans! Today’s blog post surrounds the new Test Kitchen series we’re launching. In the series, classes will take place monthly and focus on perfecting classic recipes using different preparation techniques and cooking methods. 

 The first Test Kitchen class is Fried Chicken and will take place on Saturday, October 26, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. November’s Test Kitchen class is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The topic of this Test Kitchen class will be Holiday Pies.

 Salt Lake Culinary Center’s Test Kitchen classes provide students with the opportunity to perfect a classic dish using different cooking methods.  In the first Test Kitchen class students will prepare delicious fried chicken three ways.  Whether you’re interested in learning to prepare finger-lickin’ good chicken with less fat or recreate your grandmother’s traditional recipe, our Test Kitchen is just the class for you.

MENU:

  • Oven-fried Fried Chicken
  • Classic Southern Pan Fried Chicken
  • Buttermilk Marinated Deep Fried Chicken
